Directed by Rafhael Barbosa and Werner Salles

1695. Dandalunda receives a powerful spiritual sign. A message in the sky inspires a group of enslaved people to organize a rebellion and escape in search of the utopian quilombo Angola Janga. Alongside her husband Taú and their young daughter Kênia, Dandalunda embarks on a journey through hostile nature, using her mediumistic abilities to avoid the dangers along the way. When they finally reach Angola Janga, they find themselves in the midst of a great war between the troops of Domingos Jorge Velho and the domains of Zumbi. But the war is not the end.
